LOVE IT ALL!!!!
Wow, it is so hot, humid, I don't even remember what my hair used to look like, the food is crazy good, I get rained on all the time, I don't even know how to speak Chinese, and I absolutely love it all! This has been such an amazing experience. My time here is brief, so forgive me for frazzled thoughts and shortness.

I don't even know where to begin. I love plane take offs, plane food and long flights are awesome.
Every single meal I have had has been amazing, the highlight being a sizzling hot plate that they put cold noodles and a raw egg on, and it cooks it all. AMAZING.

My new companion is wonderful and we have a lot of fun together. Good thing, because we get caught in a lot of rain storms and heat and our apartment is a little sketch so we need that good sense of humor going on.
My new area is in Yilan, on the east coast. We can't see the ocean, but we are pretty close. My area has a tiny bit of city and then a lot of rice patties and beautiful countrysides. My trainer and I are white washing the area. which means that she was not in this area before I came here, and we are both new to the area. So essentially we are just figuring things out together. We haven't met about half of our investigators, though we have a list of many, and a lot of scheduled appointments this week. The members here are amazing, a family fed us last night and it was seriously so delicious. I only dropped my chopsticks twice and didn't take my shoes off when I went into their house, so my record is pretty good so far. The people here are amazing. Even when they reject us they are generally pretty nice! Yesterday I didn't have a rain poncho and we were knocking out in the country and we knocked a door and they said they didn't want to hear our message, but that they wanted to give me a rain poncho. Seriously so nice!
Some really cool things have happened this week, specifically yesterday. We were in the pouring rain and we knocked a door and a little 14 year old girl answered. She listened to the whole first lesson and committed to baptism. We asked when we could meet with her again and she said she would have to ask her mom and this is where my big faith really needed to come in because I was scared that it was all over. But she said that she thought her mom would be interested and went inside to get her. The mom came out and was so kind, and listened to what we had to say, thoughtfully. She said her own first prayer and thanked God for sending us here to meet them. She hugged us both and we are meeting them again on Thursday. I am so grateful that God prepared the hearts of these people and prepares a way for us to get to them. We see acts of faith and people's hearts changing. I look around these streets and wonder that they do not have the same knowledge that I have that God is my Father and He truly loves me. But everyone who listens feels something. I can see it in their eyes that this new perspective is planting a seed, that they now know it is a possibility that they have a Savior and a Father who is in Heaven. This is why I am so glad I am here so that I can help people know these things.
I am almost out of time, but I love you all and thank you for the support that you have given to me. You are all truly amazing!
